Ystradfellte Show
Ystradgynlais Volunteer Centre will be at the annual Ystradfellte agricultural Show, this Saturday 10th September. Its always a great occasion, with lots to see and do, and we’ll be there with our wood, tools and craft items.
Furniture Sale This Saturday
Now a regular feature of life at the Volunteer Centre, Saturday August 20th sees the monthly Furniture Sale at the old Remploy factory. Open from 10am til 3pm, this is the perfect opportunity to pop in if you cannot make it during the week, or if there is something that you have been meaning to find the time to look for. We have a quality selection of second hand and reconditioned furniture to suit all needs.

Annual Plant Sale at Cwmtwrch Welfare Hall
On Saturday 14th May, 10:30 to 1pm, the Volunteer Centre will again be at Cwmtwrch for the annual plant sale in the Welfare Hall. With plants, tools and planters from the Woodstore, come and see us there!
Furniture Sale – this Saturday
At Antur (Old Remploy) we are holding our regular ‘Every Third Saturday’ FURNITURE SALE this coming weekend:-

10am – 1pm
Great selection of quality second-hand furniture, including sofas, tables, chairs, cabinets, cupboards and more!
Nextdoor Woodstore
The Ystrad Woodstore, run and owned by the Volunteer Centre is an affiliate member of the National Wood Recycling Project.
As part of the combined project, an online shop has been set up – Nextdoor Woodstore where you can buy, order and pay for wooden craft items online, and have them delivered to your house.

YVC Toolstore relocation to Antur
Antur Ystradgynlais (the old Remploy factory in Glanrhyd) will now be the site of the TOOLSTORE as well as the Woodstore. The Volunteer Centre can take orders, and will have some items for sale, or for collection, but the majority of the stock, and all of the work will now be done down the factory.
YVC Quiz (Jan 20th 2011)
Ystradgynlais Volunteer Centre’s New Year Quiz will take place on Thursday January 20th 2011. Starting from 7pm in The Penybont Inn, Heol Giedd, Ysstradgynlais, everyone is invited. So bring a team or just yourself and make a team when you get there!
