Clydach Carboot Sale (2009)
On Wednesday 18th February 2009, the Volunteer Centre had a stall at Clydach Car Boot Sale.
Volunteers manned a stall at Clydach Carboot Sale, from 06:30 to 12:30. Although it was a bit chilly at the start, with the cold rising up from the river behind us, the day brightened up later.
We took a wide variety of items to sell, from teddy bears in need of a new, loving home, to a highly-polished silver plate, to genuine 1970s Tupperware, to a mat for practising yoga on !
Sales were consistent throughout the morning, and many items went to a new home. The event definitely counts as a success, and we should be doing it again in future !
