Keycutting Services

Available at the YVC

Ystradgynlais Volunteer Centre has a keycutting facility operating out of the Workshop at the back of the Volunteer Centre, at 16 Station Road, Ystradgynlais

The keycutting service is run by volunteers, trained to use the keycutting machines, and giving their own time to provide a service for the community.

The keycutting service is open at the following times:-

Thursday	9am to 1pm
Friday	9am to 1pm

The prices begin at Ł3, but depend on the type of key that is required as some blanks are more expensive than others.

Please note that a few types of key we are unable to cut because the blanks are more specialised, or are security-blocked.

Here you can see the keycutting machines, our boards full of blank keys ready to be cut, and the catalogues which allow our volunteers to quickly identify the type of blank that is needed.
